新浪娱乐讯今天(21日)下午3时，久未露面的“艳照门”焦点人物陈冠希(听歌)终于现身。他在经纪公司东亚娱乐的安排下，于九龙湾附近的一家大厦内举行记者会，郑重为此事道歉，同时出人意料地宣布将退出香港娱乐圈。以下为陈冠希英文发言内容：

IadmitmostofthephotosbeingcirculatedontheInternetweretakenbyme,butthesephotoswereveryprivateandhavenotbeenshowntopeopleandwereneverintendedtobeshowntoanyone.

Thesephotoswerestolenfrommeillegallyanddistributedwithoutmyconsent.ThereisnodoubtwhoeverobtainedthesephotoshadbeenuploadingthemontheInternetwithmaliciousanddeliberateintent.

Thismatterhasbeenserioustotheextendthatthesocietyasawholehasbeeneffectedbythis,andinthisregard,Iamdeeplysadinit.

　Iwouldlikenowtoapologisetoallthepeopleforallthesufferingthathasbeencausedandtheproblemsthathavearisenfromthis.

Iwouldliketoapologiestoalltheladiesandtoalltheirfamilies,foranyharmorhurtthatthey'vebeenfeeling,I'msorry.Iwouldliketoalsoapologiestomymotherandmyfather,forthepainandsufferingthatIcostthemduringthesepastfewweeks.Mostimportantly,IwouldliketosaysorrytoallthepeopleinHongKong,Igivemyapologysincerelytoyouall,andreservedlyitbe,andwithmyheart.IknowyoungpeopleinHongKonglookuptomanyfiguresinoursociety,andinthisregard,Ihadfailed,Ihadfailedasarolemodel.However,Iwishthismatterwouldteacheveryonealesson,toalltheyoungpeopleinourcommunity,letthisbealessonforyouall,thisisnotanexampletobesetforyou.

Duringmytimeaway,I'vemadeanimportantdecision,IwillwholeheartedlyfulfillallcommitmentsthatIhavetodate,butafterthat,I'vedecidedtostepawayfromtheHongKongentertainmentindustry,I'vedecidedtodothistogivemyselfanopportunitytohealmyselfandtosearchmysoul.Iwilldelicatemytimetocharityandcommunityworkwithinthenextfewmonths,IwillbeawayfromHongKongentertainmentindefinitely,thereisnotimerefrain.
